What will Cypher do once he gets to Terra, a Psychic Tuesday Special!!! 26-02-17
With the forthcoming release of the the third Gathering Storm book for 40k and the return of Cypher to the lore, I feel it's time to put to paper (electronic) my psychic predictions of how thinks will come to pass.
Cypher will make a deal with the revived Primarch Guilliman and a combined force of Ultramarines and Fallen Dark Angels will make for Terra.
The Thirteenth Black Crusade will burst out of a hundred new warp rifts across the whole of the Imperial, but the largest will be in the Sol system with thousands of chaos ships appearing above Terra and laying siege to the Imperial Palace
Imperial fist forces struggle to put up a fight with them rallying around the phallax but Ultimately being overwhelmed by the endless chaos forces.
A sizeable force of Space Wolves and Dark angels along with the DA battle fortress 'the Rock' appears in defence and turn the tide of the battle for a small time, but were fought back by the ever growing chaos forces.
Black legion army elements supported by chaos titans manage to lay siege to the Imperial palace, a thing that has not happened on Terra since the darkest days of the Horus Heresy.
Deep within the Imperial dungeon, adeptus mechanicum magos despair as the marvellous machine known as the Golden Throne and for the last 10,000 years has acted as a life support machine for 'The Emperor of Mankind' finally fails.
At that moment, the combined fleet of Guilliman and the Fallen Dark angels translates in system and with the tactical brilliance of Guilliman the battle swung back in the Imperials favour.
But during the battle the dark angel fleet starts to attack the Fallen as well as chaos.
Cypher teleports into the dungeon because all the psychic wards have failed once the golden throne mechanics stopped working. With caution he climbs up the steps to the golden throne and faces the remains of the corpse emperor, the next thing that happens will change the course of the future for ever, he takes the mysterious wrapped sword from his back and unsheathe and holds it towards the emperor, then gets ready to plunge the sword into the corpse and kill the emperor for ever.
Whilst this is going on there is a stirring deep within the catacombs of the ROCK and From the oldest and deepest room the primarch Lion el Jonson wakes from his eternal sleep, then screams 'Cypher!!' Gathering a small strike force of DA finest he teleports into the Imperial dungeon and confronts Cypher.
"What do you think you are doing with my Sword 'Lord Cypher', the same sword that was given to me by the same being that you are about to strike'
Cypher held back from striking and turn to face the Lion, slowly removing the tattered hood from his head.
The Lion stared dumbfounded as he reconnissed the face starring back at him, an unexpected face, one that he hadn't seen for 10,000 years.
Cypher turn back towards the emperor and took the Lion's sword and stabbed it into the corpse shouting "This is for the Imperial".
This is were I will leave the story for now. But I will come back in the near future to finish my predictions
